Terms of Use.

Shutterdex publishes market intelligence on used photography gear sold on eBay, including median asking prices, percentile bands, deal scoring and outbound affiliate links to eBay listings. No purchase, transaction or payment is processed through the site. All transactions take place on eBay under eBay’s own terms.

You may optionally submit your email address to join our newsletter. Subscriptions use double opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link in every email. Submitting an email is not a contract and does not entitle you to any specific feature or product.

You agree not to:

• use the site to break any applicable law or third-party rights;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape or otherwise interfere with the site or its underlying infrastructure;
• submit false, misleading or third-party email addresses;
• circumvent rate-limiting or other technical safeguards.

All content on the site, including the “Shutterdex” name, logo, copy, layout and visual design, is owned by us and protected by applicable IP laws. The eBay name, eBay logos and eBay listing thumbnails are trademarks of and content provided by eBay Inc. and its sellers; they are surfaced through the eBay APIs in compliance with the eBay Developer Agreement and are used here for descriptive purposes only.

The current and v2 product remain free and account-free. A future version (v3, “Pro”) may offer optional paid subscription features: a gear vault, price-target alerts and a watchlist with custom criteria. Any such features will be opt-in, billed transparently through Stripe, cancellable at any time and will not gate functionality previously available for free. Specific commercial terms will be presented before any payment is taken.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Pricing data is sourced from eBay’s public APIs, refreshed periodically and represents asking prices, not transacted prices. Shutterdex does not guarantee accuracy, completeness or timeliness, and does not constitute investment, commercial or professional advice. Always verify the current eBay listing before acting.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shutterdex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence remain unaffected by these terms. You may resort to the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts at our place of establishment, save for non-derogable consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
