What it is
Shutterdex turns the chaotic stream of eBay listings into a single decision screen. For any indexed model you see the median, the percentile band, the deal scoring and the freshest listings, in one place, on one screen, in under ten seconds.
It’s cache-first by design: we read eBay’s public APIs in the background, never on your visit. That keeps the page fast, respects eBay’s API quotas, and means we always show a timestamp instead of pretending data is live.
What it isn't
It’s not a marketplace. You buy and sell on eBay. We just make the decision easier. We don’t take payments, we don’t broker transactions, we don’t resell listings.
It’s also not a real-time tracker. Cache-first means a snapshot, not a live feed. The freshness chip on every page tells you exactly how old the snapshot is.
And it’s not an oracle. The percentile bands are directional, not deterministic. With under ten listings we show low confidence and tell you to treat the number as a hint, not a verdict.
How we pay for it
