Cookie Policy.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorageand pixel tags. We use a small set of these to make the site work and, optionally and only with your consent, to understand how it’s used.

Strictly necessary

• shutterdex_consent: stores your cookie-consent choice (granted/denied) for one year. Set without consent because the site cannot operate without remembering your decision.
• sd_epn_disclosure_seen: sessionStorage flag that suppresses the affiliate-link disclosure tooltip after the first time you see it in a session. Strictly client-side, expires when you close the tab.

Analytics (optional)

With your consent, we use PostHog (PostHog Cloud, EU region in Frankfurt) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. PostHog sets a couple of cookies named ph_* with a 1-year expiry. We do not use these for advertising or cross-site profiling. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie banner.

Third-party cookies

We do not embed advertising networks or social-media trackers. The only third party that may set a cookie on your device, and only if you accept analytics, is PostHog. Cloudflare (DNS/WAF) does not set tracking cookies on this site.

You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit. To change your decision later, clear your browser storage to be prompted again, or block/delete cookies entirely from your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site (e.g. the consent banner will re-appear on every visit).

We honour the Do Not Track header by not loading optional analytics when the header is present, even if you previously accepted analytics cookies.

As Shutterdex evolves we may add or remove cookies. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
